hi and welcome to a new video! today, i will review the new nike mercurial superfly iv from the electro flare pack. let's find out if it's better than the previous model! enjoy the video! the previous superfly iv is known for its heel issues. i expected nike to work on this. unfortunately, this was not the case. the new model gave me even more pressure marks
on the left and right side of my ankle over a testing period of two weeks. the heel issues are an individual problem however, four out of five players did have problems. further, the superfly could be a bit snug at the forefoot. if you have wide feet, you should be fine. the thin and soft upper offers an excellent touch. there hardly is any other boot with a comparable touch. so, it's five out of five here.
the thin and soft upper also brings a few problems. after just three months the flywire broke. also, the upper showed strong stress marks in the front. the vapor x performs a lot better here. you should expect more from such an expensive boot. so, if you play on artificial grass only, get the ag version. the superfly iv is an absolute perfomance boot. if it fits you and you are willing to pay 280€, get it! still, i'm not a big fan.
the comfort and fit could be better. also the durability is below average. this is also the case with the new electro flare version. if you want a similar speed boot i would suggest you to buy the vapor x or the old f50. those are half the price with a better performance. what's your opinion on the superfly iv? do you want to buy the boots? let me know in the comments below!
