look at what it is!it’s a police car! would you go check the partsof the police car with me? yeah! come on! look at this light bar up here. there’s the red lights and the blue lights over there. and speaking of lights… wow, look at the spotlight! it’s so bright!

and the front of the police carhas this push bar. this is used to help push vehiclesoff to the side of the road that are broken down. and then down here,this is a speaker. listen."hey there, clear the road." yeah! that was awesome! and one of my favorite parts… the engine. this is where the car getsall of its power from.

and the oil.would you check it with me? allergy season! ok. oh, look. yeah, the oil looks good to me. so let’s put the dip stick back. and let’s shut the hood. and let’s head to the back. and look down here.

the wheels and the tires. oh, an look right here! two words!the first word is "olympia". o-l-y-m-p-i-a and this second word is "police". p-o-l-i-c-e "olympia police". and last but not least, the trunk. there’s some cool stuff back here.

wow, road flairs. oh, a speed gun. and some cones.even some caution tape. i’ll show you this stuff laterbut for now, it’s time to dance. [sirene][music] hey! would you look insidethe police vehicle with me? yeah, come on! wow!now we are inside the vehicle! look at this. look at the switch,do you see it?

i’m going to push it allthe way to the right. and those are the lights. look. wow, those are so bright. ok, i’ll turn them off now. ok, i turned those offand look at this, see? i just turned that on. that’s the spotlight, do you see it? ok, let’s turn that off. and what else is in here?

wow, the stearing wheel! and, hum. oh, the intercom. hello, hello. i see you.it’s blippi! that’s funny. and, oh, speaking of noiseand sound, look at this. this right here,this button, listen. yeah, that’s the sirene. and the computer.♪ police cars ♪ ♪ police cars ♪that is so cool.

it’s the blippi’s police car song. ok. and i have some more fun stuffto show you over here. come on. shut the door. ok, come here. look in here.this is the patrol back. there are so many coolgadgets and goodies in here. wow, like binoculars. wow, i can see so far! wow! hey!

ok, i’ll put those down there. oh, stuffed rino. [funny noises] a camera. flash light. hello! hello! so you can see in the dark. first aid kit. and handcuff.

so cool! i like handcuff. ok, let’s try it on. put it on. oh, that you have handcuff on you,you can’t get them out! but luckily…i have a set of handcuff keys. i put that right there. do a little twistyand then i got them off. it’s like magic. ok, let’s put these back.

and last but not least. every police officer has to havea pair of sunglasses. now i’m a police officer. check out this. this is where you put the suspects. the door doesn’t evenhave a handle on it. and the seats are plasticand really uncomfortable. i don’t like being back here. and no handles are like childsafety locks but for adults.

hey, this is a speedmeasuring device. this is a laser to bounce of a carand come back and it will tell me how fastsomeone it's going. right here in the streetcorner looking for speeders. there’s one now! woo-hoo! wow, he is going way too fast. let’s go get him. well, hello there, officer!

sir, i need to talk toyou about your speeding. uh, i’m sorry, what can i say?heavy foot. well, i’ll give you a warning for today but we're just trying to keep everybody safe? - alright, thank you.- speaking of that. we’re looking for this person.have you happen to see him? oh, nop. that gentleman looks likehe is wearing glasses. i sure don’t. oh, you’re right.well, let me give you this.

call us if you see him. - ok. thank you so much.- drive safe. bye! that was a close one! hello!hey! let’s look at what’s inside the backof the police car a little bit better. look! we have a police officer’s hat. and yeah, a safety vest. and it’s bright yellow.

look at it. wow. nice bright yellow safety vest. how do i look? ok. oh, and i've got my hat on. and… look, four orange road cones. one, two, three, four! ok. oh, and look.a road flair. wow! put that in my pocket.

and... road spikes. ok. set those down.let's close the trunk. ok. first things first. road spikes.take a close look at these. wow, look at that! wow, those are sharp. ok, let’s put this right there. put this over here. ok. ready? watch this.

we’re going to set up thistraffic course for the police car. and the police car's going to make sureit doesn’t drive on this cause these are really sharp. ok, let’s take the four road conesand put one right here. come on. and let’s put thesecond one right there. one, two. and let’s put thethird one right here. one, two, three.

and we’ve got one more.come on! ok, how about right here? ready? yeah!one, two, three, four! i almost forgot! my favorite part,the road flair. ok, this is not a toy. not for kids so, here we go! ok. let’s put it down right here. and let's start this course. it barely missed the spikes!

good job! that was so much fun learningabout police vehicles! now it’s time for thepolice car song! ♪ police cars ♪ ♪ they drive really fastthrough the town ♪ ♪ they know my goodnessthe sirens are so loud ♪ ♪ can’t you see their redand blue lights ♪ ♪ letting everybody knowto let them by ♪ ♪ yeah, they come in allshapes and sizes! ♪

♪ there is a radio and a computerinside them ♪ ♪ some have a dog to helpthem sniff a crime ♪ ♪ sometimes you need the helpof a canine ♪ ♪ if you are ever in troubleor somebody is hurt ♪ ♪ or if there is an emergency ♪ ♪ you dial 9-1-1 ♪ ♪ and the police will come ♪ ♪ driving in their… ♪♪ yeah! ♪ that was really fun singing
