imagine a job you love, in a place you love. working for calstrs and living in san diego i would definitely say this is pretty close to utopia. i love living in the bay area and working in the bay area. what i love about riverside...it's history. i love glendale because i grew up here. from the first day, i fell in love with calstrs because i knew i was helping teachers, those people who actually helped me to be where i am today. calstrs is on the move.
we've opened up offices all over california to better serve our members. there is a huge opportunity to work in a place you love while being part of a team dedicated to california's educators. working in a member service center you are directly hands-on and knees deep making sure you can help and make a difference in someone's life. if i had to give one word that best describes working at calstrs is family. rewarding fulfilling classy
imaginative balance calstrs is the largest teacher pension fund in the world. working for the state means good benefits. working in a member service center means working with a tight-knit group of people and living in a place you love. you can drive literally an hour and a half in any direction and be at the beach, the desert, the mountains. there's never a boring day, every day brings something new. working here gives me the best of both worlds.
